SThe J.A.P. Chronicles By Isabel Rose Random House, $16.95



Title: It got my PC back up a little but it’s cute, really.



Plot: The girl everybody picked on at summer camp turns out to be a documentary filmmaker.



When she’s asked to attend a camp reunion to make a film about the place, she focuses on her now-adult bunkmates and discovers how sweet life can be.



Source of angst: She’s pregnant, Jewish, with an Irish Catholic boyfriend who wants to get married.



Resolution: It brought back scary memories of my own ummer’s officially here, and you know what that means



. . . it’s the season of chick lit!
